Class Info:
· Please sign and return your child’s blue card.
· We are reading the story Jamaica Louise James. The vocabulary test will be Next Tuesday and the comprehension test is Next Friday.
· The Pizza Hut Book-It program will begin in October. When your child brings in a completed reading log, they will receive a coupon for a FREE personal pan pizza! Please make sure they are reading regularly. They should be through their 3rd reading log by now. I have some students who have not turned in any.
· Please clean out your child’s folder on a regular basis. The cleaner they are, the easier it is for your child to locate important papers.
· Students will be presenting a book on October 29. They may choose to dress up as a character from the book or bring in 3-5 props to represent details within the book. Specific grading details can be found on the rubric your child brought home.
· November 2 is a student holiday
· School will be closed November 22-26 for the Thanksgiving holiday
